The Fort Worth City Council has given the green light to a significant mixed-use development in the Fort Worth Stockyards. This new phase, led by Fort Worth Heritage LLC—a joint venture between Majestic Realty Co. and Hickman Companies, along with M2G Ventures—will include hotels, residences, and parking garages.
The development, situated between East Exchange Avenue, Stockyards Boulevard, and Packers Street, will feature commercial space, 500 hotel rooms, a 295-unit multifamily residential property, and underground parking garages. This follows the successful phase one, which included Mule Alley and Hotel Drover.
The city has approved an incentive package worth approximately $71.6 million over 30 years, along with up to $15 million for improvements supporting the Cowtown Coliseum and the Fort Worth Herd.
Mayor Mattie Parker highlighted the project’s importance in continuing the revitalization of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards and supporting the community's economic growth.
This development promises to further transform the Stockyards, enhancing its appeal to both locals and tourists.
